Well, I didnt survive anything - my service in the ATS was one long challenge for 3 years. The badge is awarded to ex-Service personnel who served King and Country prior to 1958. Ladies who served in the Land Army have been awarded in this way - and a lot of them had to carry sacks of wheat up ladders into lofts and had permanent back trouble, ever since. I just thought Jennifer's aunt may be awarded one, for her father's service. Worth a try. Diane 10813
