I bought a new laptop a few weeks ago and paid extra to ensure that it had XP Pro installed. A friend and I build and maintain PCs for friends and relatives and do not touch Vista if we can avoid it. It seems over-engineered and over-elaborate, with a tendency to change the names and placements of familiar functions for changes sake.
