FYI: Many of you may already be aware of this but a recent list message reminded me. Many, many of the beautiful houses and manors of England and Scotland serve today as Hospices. Sue Ryder Homes for instance are almost always in an old manor purchased for the purpose of being a hospice. As an oncology nurse I have seen many of them and what a lovely environment they provide.
