Can anyone help explain please. According to my SMI CD:- Henry SCOTT of Horsted Keynes married Ann MEDHURST otp (lic) at Buxted on 2 April 1800. Further, Henry SCOTT bach 18+ of Horsted Keynes wco of Elizabeth SCOTT wid otsp married Ann MEDHURST sp 21+ of Buxted by Licence on 1 April 1803. Why would apparently the same people get married again 3 years later? Is there a typo error, because clearly the same person cannot be a bachelor or spinster 3 years after they got married, or have I missed something like a licence granted retrospectively, if that is possible.
