    3. East Grinstead parish is very fortunate in having a large archive of poor law records deposited at WSRO (ref: PAR 348/33/1). They are transcribed & indexed in "Mid-Sussex Poor Law Records 1601 to 1835" by Norma Pilbeam & Ian Nelson, published by the Sussex Record Society as Volume 83 in 2001, ISBN 0854450505. This book is now out of print, but you might find a library copy. This book includes eight 19th Century Apprenticeship Agreements dated between 1802 and 1825. Contact me off-List if you would like a scan of that particular page. The same records are also included in a CD by Michael Burchall. This is entitled "Eastern Sussex Settlement Certificates & Bonds 1651-1834 & Parish Apprentices 1575-1837" and it was published by the PRTS under ref: PRTS-SXXSC. The CD can be obtained from the SFHG Bookstall at http://www.sfhg.org.uk/pubs-12.html#SCPA ; or via the Parish Chest web site at www.parishchest.com .
