Hi All, In the 1861 census for Ashdown Forest, Forest Row, my great grandfather's profession is listed as: 'R S S T Militia, Ag Lab' He was 18 at the time. Google has been no help, so I was wondering if anyone knew what militia this was. A local militia? Perhaps something he would have done to supplement his wages? Pam Woodruff SGHG Member No: 16414
