After months of futile correspondence with Ancestry over FTM 2014, I am looking round for alternative software to which to transfer my data. Any suggestions? Diana

I have recently got a new computer with Windows 8.1, and have had to say goodbye to Generations Family Tree which I love and have been using for about 15 years! I was recommended Family Historian as an good alternative. I am still getting to grips with it, but it seems straightforward, and easy to use so far!
