    1. [SFHG] Brighton railway war memorial

    3. Does anyone have a photo or list of those first world war employees of the railway company who are commemorated at Brighton station? I would like to know if Frederick Hedger is in the list of names. He was in the Royal Sussex Regiment, and tomorrow is the 100th anniversary of his death. He was brought up in Rudgwick, where his father was the Tismans Common blacksmith. Unfortunately, his name is not on the Rudgwick memorial. Frederick moved to Brighton where he and his wife had 2, possibly 3 children. Rudgwick has a Great War Project to find out about all those who served in the war, whether killed or not, and welcomes any feedback if members of SFHG have any serving relatives who lived in Rudgwick at any time.
