There must be so many places! The nearest local museum to where she worked; the Imperial War; even the V & A, for costumes. I've been to lots of WW2 museums that have similar displays, I should think any of them would be thrilled to have something that would normally have been thrown out. It would be all the better if you had any photos of your mum actually wearing them. It's the little things that bring history to life.
