Hi Karen Thank you for that. I partly answered my own question in that I clicked on 'Family' (top left) which brought up a box with the husband and a little icon of two spouses. I double clicked and got a box 'Set spouse order' which enabled me to set Wife 1 first in the list. However, this reversal is not reflected in the Descendant Chart, where Wife 2 is still on the left. Does anyone please have any further ideas? Does anyone have the surname PARDON in their genealogical research? If so, I am looking for a connection between the PARDON family and the TICHBORN/E/Tichbourne/Tichburn family in Sussex or Kent c1550- 1650. Escpecially Alice Paine/Payne PARDON and the Tichborn/e family. Any help anyone can be will be greatly appreciated. Hi Diana, Cannot help you with any detailed information but add the thought that in 1951 the American probably came to Europe via sea and there must be records of his re-entry into America when his holiday was over. Have a look for US Immigration records which may separate him from the film star! John, You would need to order online. Unless you know the CD is physically damaged, I'd try it on another PC first in case it's a software problem - see http://www.sfhg.org.uk/smi/smiqueries.html for some symptoms.
