Hugh M Severs was a son of Daniel Severs born l802 and, likely, a brother of William 1796. I have been unable to find a male heir for a DNA test to prove a relationship. It is of note that all the other Severs I have proposed as siblings worked as a blacksmith at some time in their lives . This includes William l752 There is a deed from William Severs for 400 acres of land to George W Fraker for $550 cash. The 400 acres was on the North side of the clinch river in Anderson Co. I believe this to be in the area of Lake City TN present day. At this time (l840 census) William l752 seemed to be living with his son John Severs in the Anderson Co Census and his wife Catherine was missing. It is presumed, by me, that she had died in the previous decade as she appeared in the previous census living with a younger William Severs. It is presumed , by me, that this William Severs was the one born in l796 and not the one born l752 as the younger William seemed to leave Anderson Co and was in AR in l840 and in Newton Co MO in l850 (Spelled Seavers). I do not believe this was William 1752 as he did not leave Anderson Co until l849 for Nodaway Co MO (yes, he was 97 years old at the time_ Anyone knowing other info on Severs < Fraker, or Jarnigans please contact me in 3 weeks as I will be out of town. I could make a copy for anyone interested. Charles Severs
