It would be very nice if more Severs men would do the same. Our Severs Y DNA results show our Newton County, MO William Severs b. ca 1794-1797 [ depending on which census you look at] IS NOT related to Pat Severs AT all. The Family tree DNA sight shows related groups , color coded. i have researched my Newton County, MO Severs since 1962 and I have NOT connected them to any other group, that isn't to say they aren't related to some of the ones they are reported to be, it just means I won't claim any one I can't prove.
