Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/lBHBAIB/76.2.1.1.1 Message Board Post: between Don Severs a known desc of William Severs born l796 and myself, a known desc of Jacob Peck Severs who came to Kentucky around l830 and was born l809 or l8ll. William 1752 was known to be father of John Severs l798 and moved with John to Nodaway Co Mo in l849 . He died in l852 and is buried there and his stone says age l00. John's mother was known to be Catherine Peck . William l752 and Catherine married in Montgomery Co VA in l793. The early census of Anderson Co TN seems to show two William Severs in l8l0 or 20 and an older william living with the younger William in l830. There was also an older female in the same household (Catherine?) . In l840 William, the younger, had gone and was found in AR Census and the older person was in the household of John Severs. In l850 William l796 and John l798 were in MO (Spelled Seavers). William in Newton Co and John in Nodaway Co. William age 90+was in the household of John. The :Lamar Legacy by Petracek confirms much of the same data as William Lamar born l770 married Mary "Polly" Severs born l795 in l8ll afther his first wife Roseanne Mills had died in l806
