    1. Severs census report from l840?
    2. The code for this census report was sent me by Pat Seaver. I have no trouble deciphering what info I had. It is the interpretation of what I deciphered that is the trouble. I had Wm Severs 112000001 00200100001 Living next to James Severs 0001 1001 This deciphers as Wm one male 0-5, one male 5-l0, 2 males , l0- l5, and one male age 70-80. In other words noone of age to parent the children unless they were parented by someone over 50. Wm l752 would have been nearly 90 at that time. I assume this is him with a l digit error on his age and he was really 90 and these are grandchildren. Now to the females 2 age l0-15. One age 30-40 (their mother? guess the father died or split some time ago as there are no children 0-10. Young William did go to AR but I thought the time was about l840 and if this is his children he must have gone about l830 and did not come back for a long time. Lastly a female age 90. Catherine would have been 70 and was thought to have died in l830-40 and before l840 and this would have been a 20 year error on her age or,certainly l0. He was the older one. Could the census taker have reversed their ages. That would make some sense of this Now to James 1 male age l5-20 1 female 0-5 and one female l5-20. fairly clearly a very young couple and a baby female type. James Severs son of Wm Severs born l797 was born much later than this so this is another James and probably a son of Wm and Catherine. Guess he could be a son of one of the other brothers. and unknown to now just as easily. Aint genealogy fun? I believe we could develop a game much like Clue based on this family history and teach genealogy as well as have a nice game to sell. Anyone familiar with Clue will understand. It could also work like monopoly. Any other thoughts on this? Maybe the info I got was not really l840 but it appears to be. I believe I need to start over. I know where there are printed copies of the TN Census. I will have to get to this and find out who James and George are in that TN census data of Anderson Co Charles Severs
