I have a Severs married to a Vitula Bruington from IL and some mention of someone named Vitula was made. There was a mention of a Pearl Severs and I have someone called Parley--It is a long shot but worth a little pursuit. Charles Severs--list manager and always glad to help. I dont have anything on the Yorkshire Severs as I had thought anyone named Severs from England would be spelled Seaver(s) but did not know. There seems to be a universal believ that many Severs had French Hugenot ancestry and were run out of France with the Hugenot exodus. I suspect this is a fall out from the research on John Sevier of TN and the first Governor of TN about l793 and Rev War Soldier and hero. He seemed to be of French Hugenot desc.
