Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/lBHBAIB/101 Message Board Post: Frederick Severs is a 7th ggrandfather of mine through his son Michael Severs b. 1784 d. 1845 Muhlenberg County (A History of Muhlenberg Co., KY by Otto Rothert, 1913) and his daughter Nancy Elizabeth Severs b. 1834 Muhlenberg Co., KY. Frederick is believed to have served in the revolutionary war with Henry Rhoads (his brother-in-law) and I am looking for any primary documentation showing that. Also, I understand the Nancy Elizabeth was taken from Michael when she was young and raised by another family due to his extreme poverty at the time. If there is anyone who has a copy of that court document I would like to obtain that as well. I have a copy of Frederick's Will of 1804 listing Michael as his son but have not been able to find documents verifying the two events above. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
