There was a court entry in Breckinridge Co Ky about l849 for a George Severs. Breckinridge Co Ky was the home of Jacob Peck Severs born l809 and his wife (maiden name Hurley). George had witnessed some crime or something and was summonsed to court where he gave testimony. This was about l849. I always assumed he was a son of William Severs born l752 or a grandson and came because of Jacob Peck Severs but he may have been another group. I dont recall any other reference to a George in that area so he must have been a visitor or, otherwise, temporary. Charles Severs
