I see from my A.I.S. files that there was a Jacob Sever on the tax rolls in Muhlenberg KY in 1800 who doesn't appear there after 1800. There was also a Jacob Sivires in Hampshire Co. (W)Va who doesn't show up later. However, since there are gaps in the A.I.S. files--lost or missing censuses, etc.--we cannot conclude that either of these Jacobs ended up in Posey Co., but it might be worth looking into.
