Col. Mason " " Minor Private originally filed under James Sevars? Pennsylvania Wills, 1682-1834 I have a record of the will of Michael Severs, Newton. March 22, 1825. Wife Mary. Sons Abraham, John and George. Plantation joining Samuel Caldwwell and Joseph Goard. Four daus, Elizabeth, Sally, Leah and Rachel. Two youngest sons Jacob and David. Where John Ross now resides. Exs.: Four sons Abraham, John, George and Jacob Severs. wit.:William Dagarman, Henry Buchman, Nicholas Sheetz I.401-402 I don't know who this family is, but the names seem to match. And in my desparate attempt to find James Severs in the 1840 census, I found this entry. Abram Severs Cumberland Co.,(newton) PA ages under5 5-10 10-15 15-20 20-30 30-40 40-50 Males 1 2 0 0 1 0 1 females 0 1 0 1 1 0 0 Does anyone know if these people tie into the VA/NC/TN Severs? How old was Frederick Severt when he died? I found in the Ashe Co., NC Will index a will for Frederick Severt dated 1875. Kathy Pugh
