I just received a credit land grant for George Cevers (Severs) in Posey Co., IN dated 1815. I had previously found a George Severs selling land in Sullivan Co., TN 1815. So I believe that the George Severs selling land in TN and the George Cevers (Severs) purchasing land in IN are the same person. Just a little tidbit someone may be interested in: Most land grants purchased before 1820 are probably credit sales. These are not on the BLM website. The credit sale program was discontinued 1820.
