Unfortunately, it probably would be in court houses around their earliest known locations. More is getting available on computer, however, and it remains a fertile tool for exchange of existing information and is far cheaper than a night in a motel and a drive to some remote court house. I have a ton of Broderbund CD's (about 400 CD's <grin>) and will be glad to research anything briefly for anyone on the Severs-L list even if unrelated to Severs.
