I remember my father in law talking about an Aunt Rhodes. It is believed she wrote a book about The Boy Scouts or Cubs in England.The Sumner family moved from Chatteris in Cambridgeshire to Liverpool. Which is where I believe Aunt Rhodes lived too.Edward Smith Sumner married Mary Severs daughter of Joseph of Kendal. I will try to find more information and will get in touch with Stephen.
