Well let me tell you but then you'll understand my problem.am i or am i not a Severs,seems apropreate with your letter below in the DNA subject. My Mother was Lucille Leta Severs,md.Frank E. Bowlin, she was the dau.of Perely Clarence Severs,and Huldah Anne Baldock. he was the son of John Franklin Severs and Ida Gale. he was the son of William Porter Severs,and Elizabeth McPherson...now if you know your Severs and I don't just that they were the best fun lovelly side of our family.now that i am an adult i find out that I am not a real Severs after all.seems Wm.P.Severs,was an illeg.child of Geo.Kincade. or so its said. you hear many different stories about it but which is correct. my cousin that lived in Eng.had a Bed and Breakfast now gone so not much luck left in finding out the! truth no matter how it hurts,don't know what the dna test would cost.we are on retirement pay.so its a fixed living. please write and let me know if you could help and would like to find out if I am family or not. I feel that the proof that John Severs l798 and Jacob Peck Severs l8ll is satisfactory and consider the DNA study to prove that they are brothers unnecessary. If anyone disagrees it would be a good time to test a direct male Descendant of John Severs for that proof. I am sending this to Nancy DObner and Debbie Leftwich and v-n Severs.
