Any time I hear of a Severs fron NC or SC I think of a family who emigrated about 1825 to one of those states. His name was Heinrick Harn Severs with wife Mettie Bruins. Do any of those names show up in middle names in the family of George and Jane?? I have a book on them somewhere.
