AOL also has a responsibility to its subscribers, and the complaints were so numerous, and the security risk was fairly high. It is actually an interesting issue--the good of society vs. the rights of the individual. <g> It wasn't something that affected me personally in that I'd shut off Windows Messenger myself long before AOL did it for everyone else.
