If you have Window XP Home: Click Start- Control Panel (If it is in Classic View) -System Then in the System Properties box click the Hardware tab. Then click on Device Manager. In the Device Manager box find your CD drive (it might take a bit of searching) and highlight it. From the menu bar at the top click on Action. From the drop-down menu choose Properties. In the Properties box for the CD drive click on the Driver tab. From here you can Uninstall. Then when you reboot the computer it should be automatically recognized by the computer I think and automatically reinstalled. If you have a different version of Windows maybe someone else can lead you through it.
