I am 'fed up' with Adobe's free reader and I read in this mornings Sydney Morning Herald's supplement 'Next' that there is a 'less fussy' reader called 'foxit' which can be downloaded at; foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php I have tried to download this less than 1 mb reader about 10 times today without success and used up all my mb allocation for May. I am using WXP /2 and am up to date with windows updates. Is it something to do with my security settings and if so what do I need to do to correct it so that I can download this reader?. Joe

Joe, yes it could be a setting in your firewall or AV program. I have just gone to the site and downloaded it with no bother. Play around with your settings (privacy, perhaps?) to see if you have any luck. It could have been that they were inundated with requests too, after their address was so publicly given.
