Hi List: I purchased an Epson CX4600 All-in-one a week ago and cannot get it working. I am running Windows98SE, have plenty of memory and disk space and the documention states it will work with 98SE. When I am installing the software everything is fine until I get to the point where I am supposed to plug in the USB cable to my computer -as soon as I plug in the cable, I get the system message " msgsrv32 has caused protection fault......" - my computer froze at this point and I had to reboot, until tonight's attempt to install, I waited a few minutes and unplugged the cable and the software finished installing but of course I can't print etc..without printer and computer being connected. I am using the cable from my old printer but the man at Best Buy told me if the cable fits it will work - and it does fit both printer and computer. Does anyone have any suggestions on my problem or a solution - I have emailed tech support at Epson but haven't heard back from them yet. Thank you for any help. Jeri
