Dear Newbie mentors, A week or two ago I clicked on something while reading my e-mail that caused that particular recipient to have a small + appear to the left of his name. "Strange," I thought, but didn't take time to analyze what I might have done. Since then I have had at least one friend tell me she has e-mailed me, but I haven't been aware of receiving it. Today, I checked my K-9 folder, after seeing only 4 new messages, when Outlook Express said I had 8. There were two of the un received messages in K-9, but I couldn't view attachments. Later on, I realized that my friend probably does a * reply-to* when sending me a new message. Well, without going on much longer, I'll just say that by searching a bit, I did find a few new messages in the recent files that were grouped next to that "+" in the list of new messages. My question is how can I go back to my former status, where I don't group messages of the same subject together? I use Windows 2000. Thank you, Barbara
Barbara, somehow you have managed to set the VIEW to GROUP MESSAGES BY CONVERSATION. If you click on VIEW|CURRENT VIEW and then untick GROUP MESSAGES BY CONVERSATION, you should have the messages displayed the way you want them. Lance P. S. Check out Legacy Family Tree today! Thank you, Lance, There were dozens of messages hiding back behind other messages. I never would have found them otherwise. And I have no idea how I could have accidentally clicked on that pulldown. I appreciate your help.
