I think the answer might be "because we use AOL". That means we are free from the curse of Outlook and Outlook Express. It's possible that the newer AOL versions (I use 5.0) may have complicated things - again - and may have that google history problem. I do have my computer set to clear temp. files and history each time I shut-down (nightly), so that would certainly take care of google's history, I'd guess. But, while it's up and running, I can use the dropdown listing next to the URL window to access all of the websites I've visited since I've signed-on. Sort of a history.
