Hello Lister's, I am having a problem with AOL this morning. It was working fine yesterday evening, but this morning when I clicked on the aol icon, the Opening AOL screen came up and after about 5 minutes another window came up saying (AOL will now istall the files for you to connect to the service. Click yes to install these files. You may be asked to restart your computer: otherwise you will not be able to connect. I clicked yes and in about another 3 or 4 minutes another window came up stating updating America Online. then a window said, In order to complete the installation of the AOL software, please restart your computer now. It had a choice of Restart now or restart later. I clicked on now and the computer rebooted. After rebooting, I clicked on the AOL Icon again and it went thru the same process.I went thru it three times, and on the fourth time I clicked restart later and did a System Restore. After doing thr restore, the first thing that came up on the screen was aol wanting to install new files again. I then reloaded AOL ver.9 Security Edition and it still wants to install new files.) Are anyone else having this problem? I have run all my spyware scans and all came up system clean.
