I don't know how I did this (again) but I've lost everything in my Start Menu. When I click on the Start button all I see is My Computer. This happened a few weeks ago and I can't remember how I got everything back to normal. If someone can help me I'd sure appreciate it, as I can't even shut down the computer. You could be infected with the Trojan called Backdoor.Sdbot.B. If so, Symantec have some information here on what steps to take: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/backdoor.sdbot.b.html You may be lucky enough to get around it by doing a System Restore, first, back to a date BEFORE this trouble started. You will still need to do a good scan with an AV program though after the restore.
