To the critics:- I actually wrote about my CD drive as I was trying to get some much needed help, not unwarranted criticism. I didn't mention a stereo system as I don't use my CD drive for playing music, I have a very good stereo with which to do this. I find the drive essential so that I can look up Family History data from the CDs that I buy, as I live in a tiny rural town. To the lovely people who have tried to help with useful suggestions:- Thank you so very much, you have been extremely helpful as I don't know much about computers.
