Ruth: Click on the first message you want to delete to highlight it. Hold down the shift key and hold down the Down Arrow key. When all of those you want to delete are highlighted, hit the delete key. There may be a quicker way to "highlight all" but I'm not sure I recall what it is. Richard P. Fairfax, VA
