But I can't figure out why what I said won't work. Works here. 1. Go to Google. 2. Click in the place where you enter your search words. A list of previous searches will appear. 3. Click on any you don't want to highlight them. 4, Press the delete key. That should remove the search words. Richard

    3. Control key/H will bring up an index, then right click on those you want to remove, the right click menu will provide a delete option.
