    3. When I click on a folder in which I have placed pictures, I cannot open any of them...........never had this problem before. Can anyone suggest a solution, please? TIA Ruth in NJ

    3. For XP: Go to Control Panel--- Folder Options--- File Types. Assuming your pictures are jpegs, go to the 3 entries for 'jpeg image' in the list and hit the 'Change' button in the 'Open with' section, and change each to 'Windows Picture and Fax Viewer'. This will work with tiff files, or any other file type you want to open with a specific program. Generally an easy fix. Older versions of Windows will have some differences, based on how much older than XP they are. Supply info on your operating system if you are still having problems.     3. David- I am using Windows 98. Would you please send instructions on how to change the jpeg. I have gone as far as jpeg. which says open with Explorer............now what to do? Ruth in NJ

    3. Thank you David - it was a bit scary to uninstall Internet Explorer but that did it and now I am even able to get Windows updates which I couldn't for the past few months.............thanks again. Ruth in NJ
