Hi Just a thought. If you are using Windows Media 10. There are five little buttons on the left at the bottom. 1st on is PLAY 2nd is STOP 3rd is PREVIOUS 4th is NEXT 5th is MUTE Make sure it wasn't clicked to MUTE. If it is on MUTE just click again. It happen to me once. Wally
