But I do see a difference in how it handles on various surfaces. I find my laminated desktop too slippery and some mouse pads are too soft. For me a firm mousepad with a plastic surface (mine can have photos put inside a clear pocket) works best. Obviously that is different for everyone so you need to experiment to find the surface that works for you. Also, the 4 little 'footpads' on the bottom of my Logitech mouse accumulate surface dust as a slight 'coating' which needs to be wiped off from time to time. Sharyn
