    3. Bob, in Task Manager, when you have Internet Explorer open, you will see it listed in APPLICATIONS with the recognizable blue "Ie" icon. When you click on the PROCESSES tab, you see it listed again as "iexplorer.exe", that is, the executable file (or Process) that allows IE to run. If you have two or more instances of IE running (IE doesn't have tabbed browsing like Firefox), you will see that there are two or more entries under both APPLICATIONS and PROCESSES (what you said you are seeing). You have nothing to worry about it. It certainly is part of IE. If you really want to see at anytime just what processes are running and where they are actually on your hard drive, there is a handy utility called PrcView which will allow you to view those processes: http://www.xmlsp.com/pview/prcview.htm It gives a listing of the running processes and lists their path to find them in Explorer. If so how come I have Internet Explorer and lexplore (This is the way it is on the running programs) ? Is this a part of Internet Explorer?
