Download Managers Bob, are "add-ins". They don't come with your OS. Firefox has a download manager extension which can be installed and used. IE doesn't have one. If you don't use Firefox and you haven't purposefully installed a download manager program, then you haven't got one. While they are good most of the time, they can cause havoc with some downloads, particularly sensitive ones like firewalls. I had a notice pop-up this morning that Zone Alarm had another update, too.
