When my laptop goes into hibernate, it will not recover no matter which buttons I push and for how long. I have to unplug the laptop from power, remove the battery, reconnect all, and reboot. For some reason, my laptop will not let me change the power options to "do not hibernate". Other laptops have a hibernation recovery program, and will allow a change to "do not hibernate". For your laptop, if you want to avoid it going into hibernation, Go into Control Panel > Power Options Reset it so it does not go into hibernate. You may also have a screen saver that's faulty so try changing to a different one to check that.
