Hi Courtney, I checked the Samsung website, then followed your instructions and changed the resolution with the slider.  It was the wrong proprotions so I changed it back to 1024x768 where it was to start with.  Whatever happened, the toolbar and status bar are staying where they should.  Maybe I just needed to let them know I knew they were misbehaving.  <BG>   Whatever, it worked! Try to pick one that has the same length x width "look" as the length x width of your monitor.
