I have an old 100 MB Zip drive that I've used for back-up for one of my applications. Suddenly, yesterday it wouldn't work. I found it on "My computer" as Drive F, so I thought maybe the drivers just needed to be updated. I went to the Iomega site and downloaded the current driver, but it still won't recognize it. My warranty has LONG run out, so can't get any on line support from Iomega. Any of you have an idea as to what I can do???? I am running it in a parallel port in XP Pro. This is old technology and surprising that it's worked as well as it has for this long. With the low cost of USB Flash drives these days it's really not worth the hassle of fighting an ailing mechanical drive like this. I'd recommend investing in a USB drive and putting the old faithful Zip Drive out to pasture :-) -- Best regards, Barry mailto:barry@yobunny.co.uk MicroSoft Free Zone running Ubuntu 9.04 'Jaunty'
