I have a cemetery survey which was surveyed in sections due to its size. I did not have tombstone pictures at the time of the survey, but now do and I am going out of my mind trying to find the subjects of the pictures. The entries are alphabetized within each section and I would like to merge them all together into one large alphabetized file. Thanks for any suggestions. Hi Barbra, You have the capabilities without a program to accomplish this. 1. highlight the info on the page you want to copy. I am assuming it is in a table format. 2. copy and paste it into a blank doc. save it as a text file. On aol I can get one from file, new doc 3. Open your spreadsheet. I used excel 2003- Paste it in. Excel offered to put it back in columns and I let it. Then it went into the spreadsheet after a couple of clicks. 4. do this for each page you have. Don't be surprised if you have to alter the width of some cells to accommodate different page construction. 5. Add one column and number to it so you can put the file back in its place if you should want to see which page a name appeared on. Probably a good idea to number them with a letter and a number. Not sure if you will need 2 columns for it or not -your choice. 6. when complete. Sort all according to your criteria. Let me know if it works for you. Fran
