Fellow Senior-Newbies, I'm having a new experience with the font on my monitor. The letters are three different colors, red, green and/or black, and only certain letters appear this way. It appears on some portions of web pages and seems to slowly appear as a new page is loaded. Is my monitor going or is it something else? Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't been able to find anything on Google like this yet. I have a HANNS.G....HDS - HC194D monitor. I am running Win XP-HP-SP 3 on a Dell Dimension E 310. This system will be 3 years old in Sept. I am far from having much computer savy. Anyone have any ideas before I seek a tech? Thanks, Faye C. Texas

Sounds like either a video driver issue or a monitor fault, the only real way to tell is to use the monitor on a known good PC ( take it round to a friend's house and try it on their system ). If it works OK on theirs then try getting the latest video card drivers for your PC, if it has the same problem on a different PC then the monitor itself has developed a fault. -- Best regards, Barry mailto:barry@yobunny.co.uk MicroSoft Free Zone running Xandros 4.0 Home Edition Premium
