Just wanted to throw in a comment about WinME. I bought WinME when it first came out, and it would be a great program for about 6 months, and then deteriorate until I had to reformat and reinstall everything. Even my shop man did the same with Win98 and WinME. I finally became very proficient at a backing up, reformatting and reinstalling, taking great pride in how fast I did it, just like the father in the movie "Christmas Story" in changing flat tires on his cars. Since I've had WinXP, it's been a whole new world insofar as stability. I've had XP since ???... well for several years now and I've only had to reformat and reinstall once.
