    1. Re: [SR-NEWBIE] Alphabetzing program?
    2. Barbra, Googling on the word Alphabetizer provides a result of one free program that looks like it will do a good job; howvever, some users report it includes adware and some don't. That program can be loaded from Tucows http://www.tucows.com/preview/420798 or from CNET http://download.cnet.com/List-Alphabetizer/3000-2056_4-10451219.html To alphabetize lists, I usually do a "select all" in the list, paste it in MS Word, enter a special symbol to show ends of lines, convert the list to a table, and then sort. I paste the sorted list into Notepad to remove the MS Word hidden junk, and then paste the result into a web page. After you do your list sort with the free software, you might paste the result into Notepad to ensure the list is free of hidden junk that might make your web page behave in an unpredictable manner. Woody ===================================== Barbraseb@wmconnect.com writes: Anyone know of a program--preferably free, of course--which will alphabetize a web page? I have a cemetery survey which was surveyed in sections due to its size. I did not have tombstone pictures at the time of the survey, but now do and I am going out of my mind trying to find the subjects of the pictures. The entries are alphabetized within each section and I would like to merge them all together into one large alphabetized file. Thanks for any suggestions. **************Recession-proof vacation ideas.
