I think that Eac> the whole pc is out of whack If it's just WinXP then yes you can run a repair with this but there are pitfalls depending on how it was originally installed. You will need the COA licence key too which should be on a sticker on the case somewhere. Easy enough to spot as it has a string of numbers on it which is you licence ( 25 digits in 5 blocks of 5 ).
