    1. Re: [SR-NEWBIE] Adobe Reader 3.2
    2. Lloyd- Did you try opening Adobe Reader on your computer (like you would open any other file--double click the icon on your desktop or find the reader in your program list) and then open the file you downloaded or are you are trying to open the file on the Web site where you found it? In other words did you try to download the file or open it? Joan In a message dated 8/27/2010 2:45:31 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: I just installed Adobe Reader and am trying to download a printable PDF version of a statement from a Department Store online but after a couple of minutes of doing nothing the done message showes up in the lower left corner of the screen. I have tried it with both Firefox and IE with the same results. I have been using Foxit Reader, but I would get an error message every time I tried to download the PDF statement, so I uninstalled it and installed Adobe Reader. Can someone tell me how to get Firefox and IE to reconize Adobe Reader as the default PDF Reader? Lloyd
