    2. When I turn on my computer, I always get at "warning" that I am operating with "administrative rights" and that it is dangerous and I should change it. Is this true and how do I change it? Thanks for help.</HTML>

Is this true and how do I change it? Yes it is dangerous in that the core of the system is open to be fiddled with, either by the user or malicious programs, but the problem with Windows is that it was designed to be used this way. Trying to run with a limited account is very frustrating as Woody says. Vista and Windows 7 have the UAC system ( User Access Control ) that asks for the relevant permissions to be given but the downside with that it the frequency of it popping up means it gets 'clicked through' without reading most of the time ! So - you can ignore the warning ( and find out how to turn it off ) and carry on with careful web surfing / e-mail as usual. It's fact that the first line of defence is the user and even all the best protection in the world won't prevent a reckless user getting into hot water on-line ! -- Best regards, Barry mailto:[email protected] MicroSoft Free Zone running 64bit Ubuntu 10.04 'Lucid'
